Very, Very Frightening!
It just wouldn’t be the Halloween season without a Lush haul. At least for me! Nothing gets me more in the spooky mood then some themed bath treats. This year the offering was smaller than normal (not surprising) but I did manage to pick up a few new treats to share with you all.

Returning Products
It’s a tradition since I started my blog to do a Lush Halloween haul. This year I stuck to just new releases. Although, I was pleased to see some favourites return. Monsters’ Ball and Lord of Misrule are two of my favourite bath bombs. The Ghost in the Dark Soap, Bewitched Bubble Bar and Punkin Pumpkin Bath Bomb, also made reappearances. All of which I have reviewed before, and you can see more about those above.
The only new launch I didn’t try this year was the Toffee Apple Lip Scrub. As delightful as it sounds, I always loose these in the back of drawer and forget I have them, so It didn’t seem worth the buy this time around.
Lush Very Very Frightening Shower Gel |£12
The Very Very Frightening Shower Gel is a Limited Edition for the spooky season. I made my order online this year, so I didn’t have a chance to smell this before ordering. Lemon scents can go two ways, candy or cleaner and I am pleased to say this is the former. This smells like candy lemons to me which is nice but not a favourite of mine. I was hoping it would smell more like Ectoplasm an LE Halloween launch from 2018 that I absolutely loved.
Still it’s a fun, thick sunshine yellow formula with notes of grapefruit oil, fresh lemon juice and bergamot oil. I do love Lush shower gels, they foam wonderfully, are very moisturising and gentle and fantastic for my sensitive skin.
Lush Bat Art Bath Bomb | £4.50
The Bat Art Bath Bomb is the only new bath bomb launch for the Halloween season. I just couldn’t resist, I love the minimal design. This smells like Parma Violets to me, which is a unusual candy from the U.K. Notes of Sicilian lemon oil, rosemary oil, sage oil and green mandarin oil give it a deep herbal sweet scent.
As I am pregnant, you not really supposed to use Bath Bombs, so in my wisdom, I still brought one?! As a result, I haven’t been able to review this and show you the bath art it makes. But it is working wonders as a room fragrance! From what I have seen online you can expect deep, purple swirls with eco-friendly silver shimmer.
Lush Boo! Shower Slime | £6
I didn’t know what to expect with the Boo! Shower Slime and it’s actually become my favourite product from my Lush Halloween haul. I love the Lord of Misrule scent, so I was excited to see this return in a shower product. Notes of black pepper oil, dark Sumatran patchouli oil and vanilla absolute give it its signature scent.
Yes this is a messy product as you would expect but it’s also a lot of fun and easily washes away so you don’t have to worry about cleansing the shower after. Combined with the slight scrubby particles, this give a gentle exfoliation. The slime texture clings to the skin turning slightly bubbly while you shower. I actually wish they did this in a bigger size as I love it!
Spooktacular
It’s been a tough year but I am glad I was able to stick to my tradition of a Lush Halloween haul this year too. Although, the collection was smaller then usual, it was still so nice to treat myself to some fun bath products as it starts to get colder outside. I hope next years haul is bigger and better and I can safely return to a Lush store. If I had to recommend one product from my Lush Halloween haul it would be the Boo! Shower Slime. I would also really recommend the Monsters’ Ball bath bomb which is a top 5 for me, and a real crowd-pleaser that can only be purchased this time of year.
