Brazilian Keratin Review
Back in January Natural World reached out to me and asked if I would like to test a few products from their Brazilian Keratin Range. Since Natural World Haircare is a brand I’ve seen but never tired when they reached out I was delighted. After putting them to the test I’m excited to share my thoughts with you.
Natural World Brazilian Keratin
What made me what to try these products, is the fact they are free from parabens, phosphates and dyes but at an affordable price point! It’s so refreshing to see products that are straying away from harsh and potentially harmful chemicals but not breaking the bank. I am always on the hunt to incorporate more natural products into my beauty routine. The fact that the Brazilian Keratin range is 95% naturally derived is a huge bonus.
Having using paraben free haircare in the past, I can attest to the fact my hair really does look and feel better without them. Parabens are used as a preservative in many beauty products and although the jury is still out on whether they are harmful or not, if you tend to err on the side of caution, choosing paraben free products can give you peace of mind. There are so many options for paraben free haircare but most tend to be on the pricey side, to see a range focused on natural haircare that works, without costing a fortune is a real win-win.
Brazilian Keratin Smoothing Therapy Shampoo & Conditioner | 500ml
Natural World has seven different ranges in their line all with different targeted effects. Keratin is known for strengthening hair and Natural World formula does just that! I have thick unruly hair that tends to be oily at the roots and dry at the lengths. I found straight away after trying these products my hair felt smooth and more manageable with a little added shine and a silky feel that lasted until my next wash. As my hair is oily I do wash it around 4/5 times a week and I didn’t find these products to be stripping or cause any build-up with continuous use.
As the Shampoo is free from cocamide DEA (A foaming adent), it doesn’t produce much lather while using. However I still find it lathers enough to feel as though my hair is being covered/cleaned before rinsing. The shampoo is a pearl toned gel that isn’t to thick nor to watery, just right as Goldilocks would say. The conditioner is a standard thick cream that coats the lengths of my hair and norisheses untill im ready to rinse. Paired together my hair looks and feels cleans and drys soft, shiny and strong. I’m truly impressed with both and think they make a fantastic paring.
The keratin range is blended with Rosmary, Lemongrass, Ornage and Ylang Ylang which creates a subtle fresh scent that I really enjoy.
Brazilian Keratin Smoothing Therapy Hair Oil | 25ml
As I have dry and often frizz prone ends, I love using hair oils. While my hair is partially dry and finishing it off with a hair dryer to create smooth and shiny locks. Using small amount of oil about the size of a 20p piece. I run the product through the lengths of my hair avoiding the roots. This is such a lovely oil, it makes my hair feel sleek and shiny without weighing it down. I have tried quite a few high end hair oils and really feel this one gives them a run for their money! After two weeks of neglecting my hair while on holiday the natural world hair oil is really bringing it back to looking healthy and manageable.
Packaging
Personally, I feel like the bottles feels quite busy. There is so much text on the bottle that it feels a little overwhelming. I do however like how bright the bottles are and colour-coded to the range type. As well as the practicality of everything from the range, it’s no fuss and functional. I guess the saying don’t judge a book by its cover is applicable here because they really won me over with what is inside!
Availability
Natural World products are available online at Amazon and in-store & online at Tesco’s. RRP from £5.
To be completely honest, I can’t recall ever seeing these at my local Tesco’s. I was surprised to hear they were so readily available and had never tired them. I’m so glad I have had the opportunity to fall in love with this range. I should have known they would be worth shouting about! Honestly, I can say I’m a fan and eager to try more. I love this range more then products three times its price. Both the shampoo and conditioner are also available in 1L sizes so you can really stock up. If you are passing by a Tesco I recommend popping their products into you basket, you won’t be disappointed!
Have you tried Natural World Haircare?
I seriously need to step up my haircare game. It’s the boring category in beauty with me. Makeup and Skincare I am all about but hair care I am sort of meh towards. Though these two products do sound lovely, I love it when hair care includes Keratin – my hair seems to respond really well to that ingredient so I’ll have to check these two out.

What a lovely haircare line! I don’t think we have this range here in Dubai, but I would totally give it a whirl. I love nasty-free formulas and it is so nice to hear that you’ve had a good experience with the brand! xx
