Plant-based and super cute
I was first introduced to Beautaniq Beauty by Birchbox back when I was a subscriber. The adorable and unique packaging always stuck in my mind. A few weeks ago, Beautaniq very kindly sent me a big box of their products. I can’t wait to show you the range and what I think of everything.

I love introducing exciting and innovative brands on my blog and I feel Beautaniq really falls into that category. They are lesser known and there overall range is on the smaller side but it’s all about quality not quantity. Beautaniq have racked up an impressive list of plus points, so I thought it would be easier to tell you about them in an easy cheat sheet!
Beautaniq cheat sheet:
- No parabens, PEGS, or phthalates
- Zero sulphates
- No mineral oil, no DEA or TEA
- 100% Cruelty-Free
- 100% vegan
- Created for sensitive skin
Beautaniq is a London based brand, they do ship to the USA as well. As I mentioned earlier, you can find their products on Birchbox but also Urban Outfitters too. Better yet they have a variety of bundles, which allow you to try out their products for a reduced price. With it being gifting season, I think a selection of these products would go down very well under the tree.
Beautaniq Beauty Fill + Tame Brow Gel £9.25
I have tried the Fill + Tame brow gel by Beautaniq before, this was the product that I once received in a Birchbox but it was a brunette version. I found the brunette version to be a bit messy, as the wand always distributed quite a bit of product. So I wanted to try the clear to see how it compared.
I’m pleased to say I like the clear a lot better, the aloe vera really helps sets my brows in place. I have been converted to doing brow gel first in the last few months. Hear me out, it means the shape is more defined, before you go in with other products. Also, it means the product doesn’t get all mixed together and turn murky brown. Now that I have made my claim for brow gel first, I can tell you that I have really been liking the hold and longevity of this brow gel. The small wand helps me coat every hair too. A must for unruly brows.
Beauty Nourish + Hydrate Sheet Mask | £4
Now I’m not the biggest fan of a sheet mask I will admit, I prefer tradition masks or eye masks. I find them to cold and wet, and as they completely cover my face the feeling is intensified. It’s a hard-sell to get me to like one. That being said this the Nourish + Hydrate is one of the better sheet masks I have tried. I didn’t experience any irritation in my sensitive skin, which I so often do with sheet masks. Something about having a product pressed to my skin for 20 minutes often causes redness and burning in my skin. But this was super gentle, cold to begin with but once it warmed to my skin, I didn’t mind the sensation as much.
Containing Bamboo extract, lotus seed, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide. It was comforting and cooling and a big moisture hug for my dry skin. My skin felt soft and supply afterwards. The price point is very reasonable for a single use sheet mask too, so I’m really impressed. They also have a radiant glow sheet mask in the range containing vitamin C, if moisture is not your big concern.
Guardian Angel Revitalising Eye Gels | £4.74
Under eye patches have become my new favourite thing. Unlike my feelings on sheet masks, these little patches are welcomed for their cold and squishy texture. The Guardian Angel eye gels are actually in the shape of wings which is super cute. These cooling, blue jelly wings feel amazing on the under eyes. I love how they showed two ways to wear the masks; pointy side up to target puffiness, and pointy side down to target crow’s feet. They feel so nice you just don’t want to take them off, especially after a long week.
Butter Lip & Cheek Balm in Cocoa Rose | £12.65
The Butter Lip & Cheek Balm in Cocoa Rose was a shade that just called to me for the season. It’s a deeper rosy mauve tone, that gives a beautiful berry flush to the cheeks. As this is a deeper tone, I only apply a small amount with my finger and pat into my cheeks. It gives me a healthy and radiant looking flush, that makes me look like I have just been out in the cold. This is a thick balm that works better when a bit warmed up. I have found it really easy to blend out on the cheeks without disturbing my foundation.
I like this more as a cream blush then a lip product. It does work on the lips but gives more of a ‘ I just ate a Popsicle’ stained look. As it is on the dry side, I feel like it looks more like lipstick that’s partially worn off, instead of an intended lip look. That may be just because it’s dry lips season, so I will give this another go in the warmer months and see how I feel then.
There are 5 shades total in the line and all look beautiful for a variety of skin tones. I love that’s its 90% plant based, and as a blush I have been enjoying it. A great no fuss product, and if you are on the road and don’t have a brush to hand this would be my pick.
Nourishing Mascara | £15.73
The Nourishing Mascara has a great brush size, sometimes I find mascara wands overwhelmingly large but this is not the case with this one. It’s small enough to do my top and bottom lashes, without risking removing an eye. The curves to the bristles do a great job of separating my lashes.
I do find it takes a while to build up the length I’m looking for, and even then it’s more on the natural side. The volume is good and I find my lashes look separated, fluffy and not at all clumpy which I love. Most importantly this mascara doesn’t flake or smudge on me at all. Which is an instant dismissal in my books. If I had one negative it would be, quite a lot of product comes out at once, and I find I have to scrape down the brush before I use it. Not a biggy but worth mentioning.
Enriched with Vitamin E, almond oil and oleic acid, you can see why this is called a nourishing mascara. It really does feel gentle on my lashes but still holds its own. Easy to remove and light weight, I think the nourishing mascara is a good one. I tend to prefer more dramatic lashes but it’s still a nice mascara and one I will use up.
Beautaniq Glow Serum| £12.65
The Beautaniq Glow Serum is in a similar packaging style to the blush serum but the texture is quite different. The Glow Serum is water based so it does come out of the tube a bit faster. This looks like crushed pearls, and is so beautiful in its liquid state. However, I find this a bit sheer for my intense highlighting habits. It’s definitely more of a subtle glow.
There are glitter particles which get left behind once the product is tapped in. Which personally is not my favourite type of highlighter. I think this one comes down to personal preference. If you are looking for a soft glow that looks natural, doesn’t exaggerate texture and you don’t mind a bit of glitter then it’s worth giving a go, as it’s by no means a bad product.
Blush Serum in Sunrise | £12.65
It’s no secret I love the Glossier Cloud paint so I was excited to see how the Blush Serum would compared. The texture is very different but the results are similar. You only need a tiny amount, a small dot on each cheek blends to a beautiful flush of colour. Less is needed then the Butter Lip and Cheek balm, as this is a more potent colour in the tube.
The texture is borderline mousy, and gives a natural finish once blended. Sunrise can look like an intimidating colour in the tube, as it’s such a neon looking pink. Once blended out however, it’s a really fresh, youthful looking shade that I really enjoy. It would be especially great for Spring/Summer. As not only is it bright, the texture really lends itself to minimal Summer makeup, when I’m avoiding powders. I have been enjoying Sunrise but if it’s not calling to you, there are three other shades in the line all which I think would work for a variety of skin tones.
Swatches
Lighter/blended swatch on the left, heavier swatch on the right. Of course you can sheer these out much more, but I wanted to give you all a good idea of the colour. All three blend out really easily, and can be built up without effort.
Beautaniq Final Thoughts
I’m so happy I was able to try such a diverse range of products from Beautaniq and shed a light on this great natural brand. I have found all their products to be high quality, and really gentle to my skin. Natural beauty doesn’t have to be a compromise, and Beautaniq have really done a great job of illuminating that. I am especially fond of the Guardian Angel Revitalising Eye Gels, which were heavenly on my under eyes. The Fill + Tame brow gel has really been giving me budge proof brows, so it’s well worth checking out! I cant wait to see what they come out with next.
Have you tried Beautaniq Beauty?
Not heard of this brand before. The clear brow gel sounds great.

So glad I could introduce you! xx
I’ve never seen this brand before but they sound great. I love that they’re sensitive skin friendly and sound very reasonably priced too. I’m a huge eye gels fan so I’m very tempted to pick some of those up and give them a go for myself. My dry skin pretty much only allows me to wear cream blushes over the winter months too so I’m very intrigued by the idea of the blush serum. They sound like amazing products! x

So glad I could introduce you. The eye gels are amazing, so cooling and soothing without being irritating on the skin. they aren’t to thin either which makes them easy to apply and re-position as needed. I have become such a convert to liquid blush, my dry skin also responds much better to it and it wears so much longer on my skin. Thanks so much for reading Sophie! xx
Look at all those amazing products! I have many skincare items based on lavender, and they smell so good 😉
