My Second Beauty Pie Haul
It’s time for my second Beauty Pie haul, once again I was spoilt for choice. Beauty Pie has already impressed me with its amazing skincare and makeup products, so I was eager to add to my collection. With my spending cap refreshed it was time to place another order.

Last month I shared my first Beauty Pie haul click here if you missed it.
In my original post, I explain how Beauty Pie works in a lot more detail. To recap, Beauty Pie is a buyers club. You need to be a member to be able to shop the member’s prices. The level (price) of your membership, with effect how much you can spend until your spending cap is refreshed. Unspent budget does roll over while your membership is active.
Breakdown:
For my second haul I had a spending cap of £107 (£7 rolled over from last month’s allowance) as it was my second haul, I didn’t get the first time bonus £50 I did last time.
The prices in bold is what affected my spending cap. The prices in Italics is what I paid.
Jeju Daily Multi-phase Purifying Cleansing Milk: Typical Price £28 – Members price £9.34
One Palette Wonder: Typical Price £35 – Members price £6.17
Fresh Glow Breathable Setting Spray: Typical Price £15 – Members price £5.23
Super Brow Fine Precision Pencil: Typical Price £17 – Members price £3.36
When I was done, I had £12 left of my spending cap, which will roll over to my last month.
I paid £24.28 + £3.36 for shipping + £10 for membership, making my haul a final price of £37.64 for my second month
My Beauty Pie Second Haul
Now I have placed my second haul with Beauty Pie, my thoughts on membership have developed a bit. In my last post, I touched on the commitment of the membership, and why that caused me to wait a while before going ahead with a three month membership.
This time around, I felt my spending limit influenced my purchase more then the previous month. Noticeably, I experienced more frustrations with what I could and couldn’t buy within my limit. If you have a long term membership. This is less likely to be an issue but if you are a lower level member or have a short term membership, every haul needs to be somewhat planned out. This would ensure you are able to get everything you want over the course of your membership. Just something to consider if you are thinking of subscribing. I still think the membership is good value and worth doing but it does take planning.
Jeju Daily Multi-phase Purifying Cleansing Milk £28 /£9.34
The Jeju cleansing milk was the product I was most excited to try, and the rest of my haul really revolved around this product. I’m so happy to report it hasn’t disappointed. I adore this cleanser.
Jeju is an island in South Korea which grows two of the key ingredients in this dreamy cleanser. Jeju cherry blossom which gives this cleanser is gorgeous scent and is a soothing antioxidant, and Jeju Jori which is a bamboo grass from the mountain of Jeju. Known for its skin brightening properties.
This thick cleansing milk feels balmy and luxurious. As you massage it into your skin it turns more into an oil, to really deep clean without stripping the skin. I find this to be a very gentle cleanser for my sensitive and dry skin, and as it’s not soap based it doesn’t dry out my skin.
I have been using this as my morning cleanser. Beauty Pie does mention you can use this for removing makeup too. My skin feels so comfortable after removing which I find really easy to do.
Packaging wise, I just love the convenience of a pump. This beautiful packaging is hard to capture but the black glitter packaging is really stunning.
I can’t get over how good Beauty Pie’s skincare is, I have been obsessed with everything I have tried and this cleanser is no exception. It’s so luxurious and leaves my skin clean and calm. If you had told me you get quality like this for under £10, I would have been sceptical. This performs like a high end cleanser but is so budget friendly, Beauty Pie has nailed this one. A must try for all skin types.
One Palette Wonder £35/£6.17
I will admit, this was a bit of a spontaneous pick. I actually wanted to try one of Beauty Pie’s candles, but it sold out as I was checking out. So I quickly picked the One Palette Wonder to take its place. So far have mixed feelings about this palette.
The format is as I’m sure you have noticed, is identical to the Charlotte Tilbury instant look palettes. There are three eyeshadows, 2 blushes, 1 bronzer and 1 highlighter. It goes without saying it’s great for travel as everything is in one slim compact.
While I love the convenience and compact nature of this palette. I haven’t been blown away with the actual powders. They are rather soft, with a fair bit of kick up, these powders are more on the chalky side as well.
Eyeshadows
The eyeshadows kind of blend to nothing with a brush. I find the best was to apply these is to pack them on with my fingers, which isn’t my favourite way to apply eyeshadow. The pale matte pink isn’t my favourite kind of shade, but the other two work for my skin tone/makeup preference and I have used the highlighter as a lid shade too. The bronze metallic swatches really well but It takes a lot of work to get the same intensity to translate. It’s the shade that called to me the most in this palette, and it is beautiful but a lot of work.
Face Powders
On the positive side I think the face powers, the blushes and bronzer and highlighter are better. They are a bit sheer for what I’m used to, but if you find pigment intimidating these can be a good starting point. They blend easily and I don’t struggle to get my brush into these pans which is a bonus. The shades are more suited to fair and light skin tones, they are all pretty and work well for me. However, it would be nice to see a deeper colour story added to the line too.
Overall for a really affordable travel face and eye palette it’s not bad, but unless I was on the road I can’t see myself reaching for this one. I do think the packaging is very pretty so it will probably still feature in my faltlays as let’s face it, I’m a magpie for pretty stuff.
Fresh Glow Breathable Setting Spray £15/£5.23
The Fresh Glow Breathable Setting Spray is one of the lower spending cap priced items on the Beauty Pie website. Which is why I decided to give it a try, as my budget had been taken up by higher valued items. I must say I’m really pleased I picked this up as it’s my second favourite product from my haul.
This breathable setting spray does spit a bit when you spray it, the mist is not that fine. Despite that, I have noticed my foundation wears longer and doesn’t break down as much throughout the day. I have seen this result with multiple foundations that I rotate, everything from full coverage to light coverage. I do a check in usually at lunch and the improvements in my bases longevity, is really noticeable. I’m so impressed, as not even Urban Decays All Nighter has such visible results for me. I don’t find this spray drying either, which is a common side effect for long wearing setting sprays. Fresh Glow is a fantastic daily makeup mist and I’m really impressed with the results. I would definitely repurchase.
Super Brow Fine Precision Pencil £17/£3.36
I have mentioned a few times on my Instagram how I prefer powders and pomades to brow pencils. However, I’m always looking to be swayed. As the Beauty Pie Super Brow pencil was such a bargain price I decided to give it a go. I am pleased to report I really enjoy this pencil. It gives my brows a more natural look then I usually go for but I have been favouring it more and more. The super fine pencil tip makes it easy to create feathery strokes.
There is a spoolie on the end too which I didn’t expect for such an affordable pencil. The only drawback is that I am working quite quickly through this. I could see myself finishing this within the month so that’s something to consider. Otherwise a great brow pencil and one of the best I have tried, even better that it’s such a steal.
Beauty Pie Final Thoughts
I am so glad to have found some new favourites from Beauty Pie. Their products continue to amaze me with the quality and affordability. They often state that they are shaking up the beauty industry and I agree. It’s definitely a brand to watch. My top products from my second haul were the Jeju Cleanser and Fresh Glow setting spray. Once again Beauty Pie skincare has won the prize for being the best affordable line I have ever tired. Yup I said it. I am looking forward to placing my last haul of the year in the next week. There is still so much I want to try from the brand, so it’s a strong possibility I will subscribe again next year.
Have you tried Beauty Pie?

This is so interesting. I love the concept of Beauty Pie, and the value is amazing. All of this for less than £40 is incredible. And even if you do go through things like the brow pencil quickly, I still think that’s pretty good for £3! Having to plan out your hauls would be annoying though, I think I’d probably let mine roll over and do a bigger order without so many restrictions? x

You can’t deny the value and the quality overall has really impressed me. I think that’s a smarter way to go! It means waiting but you would save on postage and wouldn’t have to do any planning, win win xx
Love the shades, the pink ones are lovely. Great photo directing, dear!

Thank you so much! xx
I’m so intrigued by this whole concept and I think I would love to try a short term subscription, mostly to get my hands on the skincare products that are getting such good reviews! I’m a bit sad they don’t ship outside the UK tho.
Not to be a Debby Downer here, but I must admit that seeing the One palette made me a little upset, as I’m not a fan of rip offs -. I’d actually prefer if BP didn’t copy so obviously the bigger brands, out of respect really. x

The skincare is really great! As its a higher value though I haven’t been able to buy as much within my spending limit as I would have liked too. I know I hope they expand their shipping soon. I totally know what you mean, It’s not creative just to do a carbon copy. I think a travel palette is great option but this one fell flat. Stick to CT! Thanks for reading Beatrice xx
I’ve noticed Beauty Pie has been everywhere lately and I’ll be honest I didn’t really know much about it so I went back to read your last post. I think it’s a really interesting concept and certainly seems to be very popular! I can’t believe how similar the One Palette Wonder is to Charlotte Tilbury’s version, shame it doesn’t sound to be as good!
Musings & More
I’m so glad it was helpful! Its a very unique concept but their offering is really impressive and they don’t seem to be slowing down which is great to see. They have some amazing products but sadly the One Palette Wonder feel flat for me xx
This palette is really beautiful ! It’s the kind of palette I love to have.
I didn’t know anything about Beauty Pie. It looks pretty cool.

Thank you! I had high hopes for it but still will try and get some use out of it xx
The one palette wonder it is indeed identical to the CT one -in the beginning I thought you added the CT palette as a prop in the pictures.
Anyway, such a palette is perfect for travelling because it is very compact and it has everything you need!! And it would avoid carrying a heavy beauty bag around (even though I always end up taking too many products!!XD)

Hehe I know it’s identical. I don’t love that it’s an exact match to the CT ones, but it is an affordable option. For travel I think its a good option as I am always an over packer xx
i would like to try one palette wonder and Fresh Glow. Thank you so much for review.
