Mejuri are a fine jewellery brand from Toronto. I instantly fell in love with their timeless and beautiful pieces, made with every day in mind. In this post I wanted to share more about one piece in particular, the Mejuri Tube Hoops.

Introducing Mejuri
Mejuri have really nailed a timeless and chic style with their pieces. I love their philosophy about bringing quality jewellery for a more affordable price to the market. Handcrafted, set with genuine gemstones and ethically sourced diamonds. You will definitely be able to find a piece to fall in love with.
Mejuri ship to the UK and import tax and duties are included in the price so no grey slip of doom.
Mejuri Tube Hoops | £65
The Mejuri Tube Hoops are such a striking and timeless medium sized hoop earrings. I instantly feel in love with them because all it takes is a pony tail and these earrings to feel glam and made-up for the day. I feel like they are just the right amount of eye catching and so versatile in their style. You can really dress up or go for an effortless chic with a pair of hoops like these.
They do have a bit of weight to them as they are thick but not so much you feel like your ear is being dragged down. I comfortably wore these for serval hours without feeling like I needed to take them out.
The Mejuri Tube Hoops came packaged in beautiful velvet bags inside a box to ensure they stay protected and dust free when not being worn.
18k Gold Vermeil
The Mejuri Tube Hoops are made from Gold Vermeil (also available in sterling silver). Vermeil is a thick layer of 18k gold over sterling silver. Making them high quality but so much more affordable then a solid piece of 18k gold jewellery. I have an allergy to nickel, so I can’t wear cheap jewellery without getting a bad reaction. Investing in and swapping to real gold pieces has solved this problem for me, and allowed me to treasure my beautiful jewellery for longer too.

I love the simplistic elegance of Mejuri pieces. I have a really hard time with earrings, almost everything irritates them and I only have a couple of pairs that I can actually tolerate for a full day but quality metals is always important if I stand half a chance of being able to wear them. They look great x
Sounds like you have the same issue I do! I didn’t wear earrings for years as a result. With lockdown I haven’t been able to road test these for as much as I would like but I haven’t had any reactions to the hours I have worn them. They are such a pretty style, I can’t wait to wear them more xx
I’ve heard a lot about Merjuri! Unfortunately I have strayed too far away from wearing earrings lately and every time I put some on they irritate my ears so I can only wear them for a few hours or a day or two. Hoping eventually I can wear hoops again ='(

I didn’t wear earrings for years so don’t worry you can find your way back if you want to! I would recommend surgical spirts. Clean your earrings with them after each wear and try to use precious metals as nickel for instance can irritate xx
