4 New Skincare Products To Try!
My favourite affordable skincare line has had some new launches lately, that I can’t wait to share with you. I am always blown away by the quality of Good Molecules and these new products are no exception.
*These products have been sent to me for testing and review purposes. All opinions are my own.

The Good Molecules Mantra
For a quick overview on Good Molecules if you are new to them: Products start from just $6, amazing to see. The philosophy is ‘skincare that works for a fair price’. I have tried quite a few products from the line, and have yet to encounter one I don’t enjoy. They are fragrance free, cruelty free, high quality and my sensitive/dry skin loves them and so do I!
Good Molecules can be found on the Beautylish website and also the Good Molecules site and can be shipped to the U.K.
Let’s take a look at the new arrivals
When Good Molecules started, their offering was on the smaller side. It’s great to see them expand into more products to suit a variety of skin needs and desires. Their launches are always very considered and a positive addition to the available range. No filler products here!
Clarify & Cleanse Bar | $8
Vegan & Cruelty Free | Free of soap, sulfates, and parabens
I was really excited to see Good Molecules come out with a solid cleanser. Enter the Clarify & Cleanse Bar. Reducing plastic is on everyone’s mind at the moment and a solid bar can be a great alternative. The Clarify & Cleanse Bar did come in plastic wrap which was a shame. It’s still less plastic then a standard cleanser, so better overall from a environmental stand point.
You may be worried a solid cleanser will be drying, don’t be!
I have dry skin and the Clarify & Cleanse bar is ultra gentle and soap free. I don’t get a dry tight feeling from this at all, which means it’s not stripping my skin. As long as I moisturise (which I always do!) it has been very comfortable while cleansing my skin. After about 3 weeks of using this daily I have no complaints at all.
Wash away impurities
Formulated with salicylic acid, tea tree oil, kaolin clay, antioxidant-rich cocoa powder (which gives it an earthy, dark chocolate scent!) and rosehip and grapeseed oils. The Clarify and Cleanse bar is packed with great ingredients to fight blemish and control excess sebum. I haven’t had any blemishes since using this, so it’s been working a treat. You could also use this on your body.
Lather Up
The Clarify & Cleanse bar lathers really easily and a few spins with wet hands, is enough to cleanse your face generously (be care of your eyes!). It can get gunky if you don’t let it dry out fully between uses. To preserve your bar, be sure to either flip it over so it can dry or get a soap dish with holes.
I have really enjoyed using this cleansing bar. It’s quick, effective, and when we can travel again a great option for on-the-go. My skin feels comfortable and clean. As I am looking to reduce plastic around my bathroom, I would absolutely buy this again. It should last quite a while too!
Pineapple Exfoliating Powder | $16
Cruelty-free & Gluten-free
A exfoliating powder… Tell me more right?! I was instant excited when Good Molecules launched their latest product the Pineapple Exfoliating Powder. Before I go any further, I have to share… it does not smell like pineapple. I know we are all thinking it, but as Good Molecules skincare is fragrance free, it only harnessed the power of the wondrous fruit.
It’s time to exfoliate
While we are on the subject of scent, I find the scent when the powder gets wet not very pleasant. I can forgive this because the results are really fantastic. So to backtrack a little. To use this, you tap out some powder into the palm of your hand and then add a few drops of water (or if your hands are wet you may find this sufficient) to form a paste. The paste when you start rubbing into your skin, becomes a really silky foam that clings to the skin and allows you to work it in all around your face. Avoiding the eye area.
Buff away
I have been using the Pineapple Exfoliating powder about once a week to buff away any dead skin cells. Natural rich starch, calamine powder and enzyme-rich pineapple, kiwi, and papaya extracts, exfoliate without harsh scrubs or microbeads. To reveal calm, smooth and brighter skin. You can really see the effect after removing with a splash of warm water.
This was an instant success for me, I love the effects of exfoliating and this is far more gentle then a lot of physical exfoliators. My skin looks really bright and my texture and skin appearance instantly improved. It was love at first…paste.
Caffeine Engergizing Hydrogel Eye Patches | $18
Vegan & Cruelty Free
Tired eyes? not anymore! As I live behind a screen the Caffeine Engergizing Hydrogel Eye Patches have been heavenly for my poor under eyes.
There are 60 patches (30 sets) within the tub and to help separate them out, the pot comes with a little spoon. I love how many sets you get, so often eye patches are sold as a single-use set. It just creates so much excess packaging and usually costs far more. Having a full tub really allows you to make this part of your routine. Instead of just on the odd occasion, or like me you put them in a drawer and forget that you even have them.
Energize
I have been using these 1-2 times a week when I really notice my eyes looking puffy and tired. You can multi-mask and apply these while doing a treatment mask in other areas too. The cool jelly texture clings to the skin and just feels wonderful for 10-15 minutes. 1% caffeine helps to reduce puffiness. While licorice extract, peptides, and aloe vera target dark circles.
Spa Experience At Home
I really love these, they are quick to use and feel wonderful. The value for money is excellent and they are just a great way to pamper the skin. I haven’t seen drastic changes but honestly I’m not fussed. It’s mainly just enjoyable and refreshing for my under eyes. If you want an extra cool sensation, keep them in the fridge!
Silicone-Free Priming Moisturiser | $14
Vegan & Cruelty Free | Free of: Fragrance, Alcohol, Silicone, Mineral Oil and PEG
I was very happy when Good Molecules launched their Silicone-Free Priming Moisturiser. A Moisturiser is a must step and it at such an amazing price point it allows people to build a full routine for less.
I use the Silicone-Free Priming Moisturiser in the morning, as I like to use oils at night. Two pumps is about right for my skin. This has a thick luxurious feel but the way it apply is so light, it absorbs straight away without residue. You can use this as the last step in your skincare, or as the first step in your makeup as a hydration top-up. I also really love the pump on the packaging, it just administers the product perfectly.
No Breakouts!
As it is silicone free you don’t need to worry about clogged pores or break outs. Personally I haven’t had this issue with silicone but it is a concern for some and Good Molecules have come to the rescue! Macadamia seed oil, shea butter work as alternatives to silicone but still give that supply bouncy nourished feel to the skin. These essential fatty acids work to protect and strengthen the skin’s barrier. My dry and sensitive skin has just loved this formula.
4 New Amazing Launches!
Good Molecules have really done it again and again. I love all of their new launches and think they make fabulous additions to the already stellar line up. I can assure you need to gives these a try. Your skin and wallet will thank you!

This is a brand I would like to try at some point. I really like the sound of the pineapple exfoliating powder. It’s great that it is gentle and not harsh on the skin.

I think you would really enjoy them Sarah! I can highly recommend the pineapple exfoliating powder it’s amazing xx
I really want to try the pineapple powder, it sounds lovely and similar to the Dermalogica Microfoliant xo
Makeup Muddle
I love the Dermalogica microfoliant! I would say they are slightly different. The pineapple powder, doesn’t feel scrubby at all. It’s more of a foamy paste that resurfaces with fruit enzymes where as the microfoliant is like a gentle physical scrub that you could use more often in your routine xx
Awesome blog! You have shared a nice post. Thank you!

I’m not sure how I feel about a bar soap on my face, that would be a big adjustment for me I think and my skin is super sensitive when it comes to the cleansers it does/ doesn’t like. I’d be curious to try it out though for the environmental reasons. Those eye gels?! I need those, you get so many for the price and I’m a complete sucker for anything cooling and caffeinated under my eyes x

I was really hesitant as well as I have dry/sensitive skin but I am really glad I did as its worked better then I ever imagined. I know right the eye gels are amazing, I am so glad they come with 30 sets in a tub my under eyes are very happy! Thank so much for reading Sophie xx
I’ve never used a cleansing bar before since I’ve always assumed bar soap is really drying. It’s good to hear that this one isn’t drying. It’d be great for traveling since it’s not a liquid!

I think because its actually soap free it doesn’t have many of the negatives we attribute with soap bars. Well worth giving a try! Thanks for reading xx
Wow, I love the price point of this brand. I can’t say I’m familiar with them but I am glad you introduced me. Especially right now as I am trying to be more sensible when it comes to purchases. I’m intrigued with the exfoliating powder. I can’t say I’ve ever heard of an exfoliator in this format before, but I am hardly well versed when it comes to beauty period!
