Introducing Indeed Labs Skincare. I am no stranger to the fantastic formulas of Indeed but it is my first time sharing the brand on my blog. Since I am always on the hunt for skincare that really goes above and beyond my expectations, Indeed really stood out. They are on a mission to share real skin and real results. These are my findings from using the products for a month.

If you aren’t familiar with Indeed Labs Skincare yet, allow me to give you some backstory. I was first introduced to the brand from the queen of skincare: Caroline Hirons. In fact the next day I went to my local Boots and purchased a tube of Hydraluron for myself. It was the start of my understanding and knowledge into particular ingredients, and the science behind them. I became an instant fan.

Indeed is a Canadian skincare brand that started in 2010 with the launch of Nanoblur. Their mission is to take away false claims, confusing jargon and showcase real results, on real people. I love how luxury their products are without the obscene price tag. Everything is paired down to what your skin needs without fillers.

Hydraluron Moisture Serum | £24.99

I’m no stranger to the hydration boosting powers of Indeed Hydraluron (link to CultBeauty). I’ve used two tubes in the past, and the only reason I didn’t buy a third, was so I could use up other products in my stash. Hydraluron was one of the first hyaluronic acid serum I really fell in love with. As I have very dry skin, even at the best of times moisturising alone is not enough. Hyaluronic acid is a wonder ingredient, it improves the effectiveness of your moisturiser and locks in added hydration into your skin. Deeply hydrated skin means better texture and more glow.

How I use It

Hydraluron is a clear gel that quickly absorbs into your skin. You can’t over do it but about a pea sized amount, once or twice a day is perfect. There are two ways I like to incorporate Hydraluron into my routine; firstly as a serum after cleansing. Secondly as a face primer before makeup. Both work great to give my skin that extra bouncy feeling.

If it’s your first time incorporating hyaluronic acid into your routine, remember you do still need to apply a moisturiser afterwards. I would also say it takes a few weeks before you really start seeing the benefits from this added step in your routine. But it’s well worth it! My skin is so much more plump, soft and I have even noticed pimple scaring to heal faster. If you are struggling to get the hydrated skin you are looking for, from moisturiser alone, this is a must for your routine.

Hydraluron Cream Cleanser | £19.99

The Indeed Hydraluron Cream Cleanser is so fantastic, I have already featured it in my top skincare finds of 2020. In fact it was my favourite cleanser of 2020 period. I have dry and sensitive skin and it’s hard to find a cleanser that is deeply pore cleaning and not harsh or drying. Better yet, I think the price for the quality makes it an instant must have.

The Hydraluron Cream Cleanser shares its name with the serum and that’s because it has the same fantastic properties. Hydrating but also works to improve skin texture and to reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation. It’s not just cleansing my skin, it’s improving the appearance and texture with every use. This is something I noticed right away and continued to notice over the month I’ve been using this.

How I use It

I love to use this in the morning, it of course would work am and pm. I use a hazelnut sized amount and apply to damp skin. This cleanser is so unique texture wise. It’s not a traditional cream, it’s almost tacky and really clings to the skin allowing you to work it in fully. Even when you add a splash of water, it emulsifies but doesn’t break down. Don’t worry it’s still super easy to rinse off too.

I love this cleanser so much! It does so much in just one step. My dry sensitive skin loves it and I am consistently impressed with the performance because I wouldn’t expect something so gentle to be so visibly effective.

Squalane Lightweight Facial Oil | £19.99

You can hear the angels chorus when you read the words Squalane Lightweight Facial Oil (Link to Ulta).It’s all of my skins favourites in one bottle. Squalane is in a league of its own, it really hydrates and keeps skin from loosing essential moisture. Whether your skin is dry, dehydrated or suffering from the affects of winter, Squalane is here to save the day.

How I Use It

As this is a lightweight and fast absorbing oil, you can use this anytime of day. It’s not going to upset makeup if you do want to use it in the morning. I still predominately use this as night before a moisturiser. Nothing beats waking up to bouncy skin. This is such a gentle product but again the results are almost instantaneous. As an added benefit, it helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and controls excess oil all the while offering intense hydration. If you love hydration but hate heavy or sticky textures, this is the one for you!

Nanoblur Instant Skin Perfector | £19.99

Blur imperfections with the Nanoblur Instant Skin Perfector (Link to CultBeauty). This is a ‘It does what it says on the tin’ product. I can see why it was the founding product for the brand and how its catapulted them to the amazing range they have today. This is a product that everyone can benefit from and enjoy if you are looking to really perfect your skins texture quickly and easily.

How I use It

There are two ways you can use this, after your skincare as the first step of your makeup. Or as a touch-up product over foundation/concealer. I prefer to use this as a first step. Once my SPF has sunk into my skin. I gently pat a small amount, primarily to my T-zone area. This reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and enlarged pores instantly. It has a demi-matte finish and as long as you don’t over do it, I don’t find it to feel or look drying.

Nanoblur is great for a really perfected skin look. As I don’t often wear foundation these days, it really helps to perfect my natural skin for an effortless and easy no-makeup look. Get the amount and technique right and it’s a real winner for your next up close skin camo.
