Manuka Honey

When I was asked if I wanted to try a bundle from the Antipodes Manuka Honey range, I couldn’t say yes fast enough! Honey, especially manuka honey is a superfood ingredient and does amazing things for your skin. The manuka honey within these Antipodes products is all natural and originates from New Zealand, as does the brand.

Skin Benefits

Honey is an amazing anti-inflammatory and is naturally antibacterial. It is also hydrating, soothing and can balance your skins ph. Incredible right! The Antipodes manuka honey is perfect for anyone wanting to target blemishes and brighten their skin. Even though these products are best for combo skin, they really do work for anyone and my dry and sensitive skin loves these too. No matter your skin type, I think you can benefit from the amazing properties of manuka honey.

Manuka Honey Skin Brightening Light Day Cream | £40

A moisturiser is a must for any skincare routine and you absolutely can’t go wrong with one as wonderful as the Antipodes Manuka Honey skin brightening light day cream. (Link to Lookfantastic). Paired with bee venom for a gentle lift to the skin. This moisturiser is all about brighter, more youthful and most importantly hydrated skin.

The Antipodes Baptise moisturiser (Link to Lookfantastic) I tried in my original Antipodes post also contained the wonder ingredient Manuka Honey. So it’s safe to say I was already a fan and knew how much this was doing for my skin.

As it says on the tin, this is a light cream formula. Quick to absorb and within seconds my skin feels rejuvenated. This product is suited towards combo/oily skin types but my dry skin has absolutely loved it too. The benefits of manuka honey can really be enjoyed by all. You really can notice brighter skin after just a few weeks of use. It does everything I need it too and more. A really wonderful formula!

Aura Manuka Honey Mask | £27

The Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey mask (Link to Lookfantastic) is a serious treat for your tired skin. I like to use this twice a week in the evenings after my usual double cleansing routine. It feels like a rich moisturiser as you apply, but don’t worry it’s not sticky or greasy. After 15 minutes I’m always impressed by the results.

Blemishes be gone

If like me you are a skin picker (I know it’s my bad habit!) The Aura mask is amazing on pimple scars and hyperpigmentation. The difference it makes in even one application makes it worth trying. Not only does the star of the show manuka honey improve blemish prone skin but it also deeply nourishes and moisturises.

I am such a huge fan of this mask. It makes my dry skin feel wonderfully bouncy and soft. I feel with a lot of blemish focused products you are trading moisture for something that is going to aggressively deep clean. With the Aura mask you don’t have to compromise, it does both without aggerating my sensitive skin.

The metal tub is hygienic and easy to get the right amount. I am always for less plastic too. The price point is so reasonable for how much this wonder product does. I can’t think of anyone who wouldn’t benefit from this twice a week treat.

Manuka Honey Skin Brightening Eye Cream | £36

I have been converted to Antipodes eye creams ever since trying the Kiwi Seed Gold Eye Cream (Link to Lookfantastic) in my last post. It is so luxurious, moisturising and gentle on my delicate under eyes.

The manuka honey skin brightening eye cream (Link to Lookfantastic) is a thicker and a more rich texture then the Kiwi Seed Gold eye cream. It absorbs just as easily to leave my under eyes richly hydrated. I look forward to using this everyday because I just love how it feels. I do have hereditary dark circles, and I don’t feel it’s made much of a difference in that department. However, it has made my under eyes look brighter and less tired. Thanks to the amazing blend of manuka honey and Persian silk flower.

The price tag is steep, but a little goes a long way and this 30ml jar is absolutely full to the brim. Most eye creams are half the size, so I do think that helps justify the price. If you are looking for a luxurious and wonderfully rich eye cream to help brighten your under eyes. Look no further, this one is a winner!

Yes Honey!

If you love honey scents and just honey products in general as much as I do, this range is an absolute winner. Antipodes cater to everything my skin loves and craves. Their formulas are absolutely beautiful. Importantly, Antipodes is focused on sustainability and using pure, local ingredients too. I highly recommend you check them out, I know you won’t be disappointed. In fact you will start thinking it it’s okay to incorporate a third skincare routine into your day so you have another chance to use them. Trust me!
