Antipodes Halo Skin-Brightening Facial Mud Mask

Halo Skin-Brightening Facial Mud Mask | £30.00

Take 15 minutes for yourself twice a week during your night time routine with the Antipodes Halo Skin-Brightening Facial Mud Mask. Halo improves skin appearance with antioxidant-rich Grape & Kiwi. Jojoba beads help to gently exfoliate and brighten in the process. The rich mineral mud hails from geothermal New Zealand! Lastly, peony also contributes to a bright and luminous complexion. With so many fabulous benefits in one mask, you can see how it’s worth your time to apply. I love keeping up with masks, as they really help my skin staying looking at its best. Halo has a refreshing and zingy – sparkling grape scent which I so enjoy, it really adds to the experience.

Paint your Face

The Halo mud mask is a traditional mud mask, in the sense it dries and hardens on your skin after application. I always quite enjoy the tightening feeling of a mud mask followed by the relief sensation once you start washing it off. It’s a two part enjoyable experience! My skin feels soft and smooth and as long as I properly hydrate after removing, I don’t find this drying at all. It can be really beneficial to use a mud mask regularly to help deep clean and brighten skin for almost instant freshness. Halo also allows my skin to start off as a blank canvas and really let the follow up products I use, penetrate my skin for maximum effect. Even my sensitive skin finds this mud mask gentle but it is especially suited to blemish prone and combination skin types.

Antipodes Divine Avocado and Rosehip Face Oil

Divine Avocado and Rosehip Face Oil | £23.00

When my skin is feeling drier, I like to add the Antipodes Divine Avocado and Rosehip Face Oil to my routine before my moisturiser/night cream. A few drops from the pipette is all you need. The Divine oil is well named, it’s non-greasy, light and has a lovely subtle floral scent. Notes of sweet orange, ylang ylang and jasmine petal. Meanwhile, avocado, rosehip and macadamia oil prove rich hydration and help to improve the appearance of fine lines, sun damage and even scars. By boosting collagen production by up to 51%.

Antipodes Divine Avocado and Rosehip Face Oil Macro

97% Organic Ingredients

I always use oils in my night time routine because they are wonderful for keeping my dry skin at bay. As a makeup wearer I tend to favour oils as part of my evening routine, unless I am skipping foundation. As they can contribute to makeup breaking down faster. At night of course this isn’t an issue. It also means my skin can focus on repairing and replenishing while I sleep. With the added benefits of nourishing oils. I love adding this to my evening routine 3 times a week. It can be used daily but currently as it is summer I don’t feel I need too. My skin feels bouncier in the morning and it has helped keep flaky skin at bay (something I suffer from no matter the season!). A great addition to my routine and a must try for dry skin suffers.

Culture Probiotic Night Recovery Water Cream 60ml

Culture Probiotic Night Recovery Water Cream | £45.00

If the incredible Baptise Water Gel Moisturiser had a sister it would be the Culture Probiotic Night Recovery Water Cream. Once you try the ultra hydrating and bouncy water gel texture of the Antipodes water creams you will never want to put anything else on your face again. I have been obsessed with the water gel texture since discovering Baptise last year. So I knew Culture would be a hit. As wonderful as the texture is, Culture has more to offer! It contains good bacteria to promote healthy skin and hyaluronic acid to provide deeper hydration. It has a natural lavender scent which is calming and inviting.

Skin Benefits

Why do you need a night cream? Night creams work differently to your morning moisturiser. They repair and replenish your skin while you sleep. Whereas a day cream is focused on keep your skin protected and hydrated throughout the day. A good night cream should leave you with calm, brighter and soft skin when you wake it. Culture contains Kalibiome AGE probiotic, which is a powerhouse ingredient that contributes to increasing skin elasticity and hydration, while also reducing roughness and redness.

I immediately fell in love with the Culture Night Cream. It feels cooling as you apply, which is wonderful for summer nights. The gentle lavender scent is so divine. I really have noticed my dry and sensitive skin feels calmer and softer in the morning and generally less irritated. This is suitable for all skin types, even sensitive! I think everyone can benefit from the hydration properties of Culture.

Make your night time routine work while you sleep

If you are finding your skin is looking a little tired or congested, working these into your night time routine is really going to make the difference. During the day your skin is so busy keeping itself protected from the environment. That’s why incorporating products into your night routine is going to help your skin renew, rest and replenish. It’s worth the effort! I love all three of these products but if I had to pick a standout recommendation, it would be Culture. Its so enjoyable to use, you will want to apply it again and again.
